The western doesn’t have a clear concept about life after death, what happen in the grave after the spirit left the corpse. This song proved that. The singer/writer of the song doesn’t know what will be happened after his death. He only guess, even not all his guessing are wrong, especially when he says: Because I believe, The spirit carries on. How ever he doesn’t know that after he dies the problem is not over.

If I’m not mistaken Imam Ali radhiyallahu anhu said, that the grave is the park of the paradise, if someone dies in islam and brings good deed, and the grave also the the door of the hell if someone dies in inividel and has many bad deeds.
